XD 15 - XD 18 - XD 20
  Internal combustion counterbalanced forklift trucks
The new XD 15-18-20 is the latest evolution of OM know-how in designing and building internal combustion forklift trucks.
Each and every detail has been reviewed and enhanced: comfort, productivity, easy servicing, heavy duty, operating costs and pollution levels are the main fields of improvement. The design of the XD 15-18-20 is by Zagato and harmonizing together style and full functionality.
The operator’s place was completely re-designed to grant the user optimum comfort: it is fully suspended on rubber silentblocks to absorb vibrations (F.S.C. – Full Suspended Cab system); as standard the pedals layout has the forward/reverse selection (as option manual reverse is available), the integrated inching/brake pedal is large and can be activated both with left and right foot. The hydrodynamic transmission, perfectly tuned, allows the best precision and smoothness in handling activities.
The standard Grammer MSG 20 seat is able to deaden any vibration to reduce the operator toil. As option the armrest equipped extra comfort seat MSG 65 by Grammer can be installed as well.
The noise level is kept low by mean of an accurate acoustic insulation system.
All driving commands of XD 15-18-20 range are servo assisted: inching/braking pedal and hydrostatic steering with an effort required lower than 0.5 Kg.
The new Yanmar diesel engine, 2.7 liters of displacement is compliant to Stage IIIa requirements of Directive 97/68/CE.
The LPG version is powered by the Nissan K21 engine with a displacement of 2.5 liters.
Both powerlines are industrial type and specifically designed for forklift trucks applications.
They grant the right power and torque, environmentally friendly with the lowest fuel consumption of their class. The new XD 15-18-20 range is covered by the OM INTRINSIC SAFETY PROGRAM dedicated to enforce the highest level of safety in any working condition. OMISP includes the Mast Safety System -mast locked when the operator is not seated. The XD 15-18-20 trucks range is in compliance with ISO 3691-1 standards.
Simplex, duplex and triplex masts with heights up to 6900 mm are available.
Options: manual fwd/rev switch, sideshifter, seats, lights, wheels, sooth filter, catalysts, different versions of cabs and many others allow full customization.

  XD 25 - XD 30
  NEW XD-XG 25-30 LOAD CAPACITY FROM 2500 TO 3000 kg LOAD CENTRE 500
The design, developed in collaboration with Zagato, was engineered specifically with operator ergonomics and practicality in mind.  The compact size of the truck allows it to be used in narrower aisles and inside containers.
The operator protection unit is completely suspended. The F.S.C. – Full Suspended Cab reduces vibrations to a minimum, and together with the acoustic insulation system, reduces noise levels.  The MSG12 seat, the hydraulic levers located next to the operator, and the foot pedals are arranged in automotive layout. The excellent visibility all contributes to a comfortable, ergonomic working posture for the operator. Steering is instinctive, reducing fatigue, and ultimately leading to improved performance.
The chassis was designed by a CAD-3D system using the F.E.M. (Finite Elements Methods) method of calculation to obtain greater torsional strength.  It has greater stability, obtained by double welded seams. Internally components are very easily accessed due to the modular structure of the frame.
A new 3.3 litre, 50 kW YANMAR eng engine and a 2.5 litre, 41 kW LPG Nissan engine provide the optimum amount of power with lower emissions. Meeting the Stage II requirements of Directive 97/68/CE, the engines have been designed specifically for use on forklift trucks, and as such, require less maintenance and less fuel.
The new hydrodynamic transmission with torque converter is ideal for loading and unloading and transportation over long distances. The large diameter drum brakes provide fail-safe braking in all working conditions.   XD 40 - XD 45 - XD 50
XD 40-50 CAPACITY 4000 to 5000 kg L.c. 500mm
This forklift has been designed for heavy work, and is suitable for several uses, distinguished by its sturdiness, reliability and top-class versatility.
The operators protection module is completely suspended. The F.S.C. - Full Suspended Cab system reduces vibration to a minimum and, together with an acoustic insulation system, reduces noise level. The MSG20 seat, the hydraulic levers are situated at the side of the operator, the pedals in the same position as they are in a car and the perfect visibility mean that the driver has a comfortable ergonomic working position, making it easy to drive, reducing fatigue and improving performance.
The chassis has been designed by means of a CAD-3D system using the F.E.M (Finite Elements Methods) calculation method which enables more torsional rigidity. Better stability is also ensured against bending and double trace welding. The modular structure gives excellent access to all the internal components.
The new Iveco Diesel motor from the NEF series, conforming to the stage II - 97/68/CE Directive, guarantees high performance and is characterised by reduction in maintenance and by low fuel consumption. It guarantees 60 Kw of power at 2200 revs and 320 Nm at 1400 revs of torque
The new hydrodynamic transmission with torque converter is ideal for use both in loading – unloading goods and in transporting along long aisles. The oil bath disc brakes guarantee excellent braking capacity even in the most difficult driving conditions. The inching system, which ensures precision in approach manoeuvring by giving maximum lifting speed available at the same time, gives the truck flexibility and adaptability in various work conditions.

The hydro-drive is a personalised steering wheel of small dimensions guaranteeing light and more precise steering. The effort required is improved and is under 0.5 Kg.

The new steering axle obtained by fusion, means, thanks to the compact structure, a wider steering angle, and a smaller turning circle and smaller work aisles Greasers positioned in contact points mean excellent maintenance with reduction in time and costs. 
The new lifting mast with optimised profiles together with the new fork holder plates guarantee perfect visibility and high residual carrying capacity. High speed lifting means less time taken for movement of goods and therefore lower running costs. Simplex, Duplex and Triplex masts are available, with lifting capacity of up to 7500 mm.

  XD 60 - XD 70 - XD 80 - XD 100
A robust forklift designed for heavy-duty applications in the construction industry (transport of coils, pipes, reinforced concrete items), in foundries and in harbours.
Design has not been sacrificed to functionality, in fact the style once again combines optimum use of space with concern for the health of the operator. The comfort of the driving position is assured: easy access, fully adjustable seat and steering column, low actuation forces (both for the hydraulic command distributor and for the steering). The LCD display, which is always perfectly readable, allows the operator to control the main working parameters of the trucks at a glance. The operator’s place is wide, and has many compartments for storing objects. The vibrations have been reduced to a minimum, thanks not only to the cushioned seat (supercomfort MSG85 from Grammer) but also to the “F.S.C (full suspended cab) system” All-round 360° visibility is uaranteed, with the generous window in the mast (based on a new design), the rear opening and the panoramic roof.
The easy maintenance is a cardinal feature for this family of forklifts, which works in several shifts and in difficult conditions. The two practical opening hoods mean that the engine compartment is easily accessible. The whole operator’s cab can be tilted sideways by means of a hydraulic system to allow immediate access to all the components.
Safety is another cardinal feature of this new family. It anticipates and conforms with the upcoming ISO3691; whenever the operator is not on board the forklift is automatically set to safe condition: block of all hydraulic functions and automatic engagement of the parking brake when the engine is switched off; block all hydraulic functions and automatic engagement of the parking brake when the operator leaves the vehicle, emergency button for disconnecting all the electrical systems with the vehicle then being set to safe condition. The new industrial type Iveco NEF diesel engines, turbo for 6 and 7 tonnes, and turbo intercooler for the 8 and 10 tonnes, are the result of a new design which guarantees improved performance and restricted consumption.
Its key strengths are its maximum torque and power supply. The turbo engine ensures a power of 74kW at as low as 2300 rpm and a torque of 398Nm at 1400 rpm, whilst with the turbo intercooler the power increases to 94 kW and the torque to 500Nm.
This forklift is moved by a ZF hydrodynamic transmission, specifically designed for heavy duty applications. It has hydro-electric control of the gears-clutches through proportional valves, the electronic inching, which allows a more precise and sensitive positioning of the load, three forward and three reverse gears, automatic gear shift, automatic adjustment to the operator’s driving style, it is silent and fitted with an auto diagnostic system.
The front axle produced by Kessler, is equipped with oil-bath disk brakes: the ideal for heavy-duty use, guaranteeing in every situation requiring short braking distance, perfect braking modulability and zero maintenance. The steering axle is very tough and compact, and it has a high steering angle for ideal manoeuvrability.
The new mast with “C” shaped profiles and high residual capacities is equipped with a 6 rollers fork plate as standard for maximum guaranteed robustness. Simplex, and triplex masts are available with elevations up to 7500mm.
